Former Canes in NBA Summer League

Former Hurricanes Shane Larkin, Durand Scott, and Kenny Kadji are set to begin NBA Summer League play in Las Vegas on Friday.

Larkin, the 18th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, will begin play with Dallas on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET against Sacramento.

Scott will be playing with San Antonio and Kadji is with Cleveland after both went undrafted.

Each team will play three games from July 12-17 before a double-elimination tournament July 18-22.

Larkin Schedule with Dallas

July 13 ? 6 p.m. vs. Sacramento
July 14 ? 6 p.m. vs. Charlotte
July 16 ? 10:30 p.m. vs. D-League

Larkin, Miami?s highest drafted player since 1965, will be joined by returning Mavericks Jae Crowder, Bernard James, and Josh Akognon. Larkin will be wearing No. 4.

Scott Schedule with San Antonio

July 12 ? 10 p.m. vs. Charlotte
July 14 ? 10:30 p.m. vs. Toronto
July 15 ? 10 p.m. vs. Atlanta

Scott, who scored 1,650 points in his four-year career at Miami, is one of six guards on the Spurs Summer League 14-man roster. He will be wearing No. 2.

Kadji Schedule with Cleveland

July 12 ? 8 p.m. vs. LA Lakers
July 14 ? 8 p.m. vs. Memphis
July 15 ? 6 p.m. vs. New Orleans

Kadji, who worked out with 12 teams before the NBA Draft, is one of 11 players on the Cavaliers roster, which includes 2012 first-round picks Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller. Kadji will be wearing No. 35.
