What is the best type of small dog to get?
I am looking to get a small dog (Maltese, yorkie, or a teddy bear puppy) which is the best kind?
Which is the least expensive?
Which is the easiest to train?
I have four younger brothers and sisters so which one is best with kids?
I would suggest a bichon frise. They are sweet, loving, and playful companions. Easy to train because of the fact that they love to please. Bichons need lots of grooming to keep their coat in good condition. But if you want to keep the coat short to keep grooming expenses down you could get the dog a puppy cut. They do well around strangers and kids if you socialize them well. Bichons are also great lap dogs. I would suggest searching petfinder.com for a list of your local shelters that have bichons or buying from a reputable and responsible breeder. I wish you the best of luck with your new puppy (:
