For those that still?weren?t?aware, Windows 8 is not too far away now. For any of you that were around for Windows ME, you know the disaster that can happen when a new windows launches. Windows 7 was\is pretty good, from what I have seen from Windows 8, Im not looking forward to it and dont see the need to upgrade. Especially after this latest?announcement.
If it aint broke, dont fix it right? Well according to Microsoft, the UI was a little broken? So they have decided to take away the Aero interface that was intoroduced in Windows Vista and and replace it with?pretty much nothing. The?changes?are in fact that they will be??flattening surfaces, removing reflections, and scaling back distracting gradients.?
On the?Microsoft?blog where htey announced these changes, they went down through memory lane and posted all the interaces from the early days of windows right through to the current day interface we all know so well. I really am not sure why they are trying to make Windows 8 a tablet.. I guess we will have to wait and see if its what people want..
